Terms
Terms.
These terms describe how this website works and how the studio scopes projects. Every project runs on its own written scope, and that scope controls where it differs from this page.
Project scope
- Scope, timing, deliverables, and price are confirmed for each project in writing before design starts.
- The written scope defines the project, deliverables, dimensions, placements, deadline, revision process, usage, licensing, source-file status, third-party costs, rush terms, payment terms, and delivery method.
- Nothing on this website transfers rights, includes source files, grants unlimited use, or permits redistribution of stock, fonts, photographs, or other third-party material. Those terms come only from the written scope.
- A brief sent through this website is a request for a scope. It is not an accepted project until the studio confirms the scope in writing.
Client materials
- Clients supply photography, logos, sponsor marks, copy, and other materials with the right to use them, and confirm that use in the brief.
- The studio does not clear or register trademarks, and does not provide legal advice on names or marks.
Portfolio display
- Work on this website is shown as delivered, for portfolio and identification purposes.
- Client and artist names, likenesses, logos, venue names, ticketing names, presenter credits, and other trademarks shown in the work remain the property of their respective owners.
- Display of a piece does not imply that the client endorses the studio or this website.
- If a piece should not be displayed, or a credit needs correction, write to the studio inbox and it will be handled.
This website
- Content is published in good faith and verified on the date shown on each page.
- The Obsidian Graphics name and mark are the property of their owner.
- Website design and development are provided by Hardline Web Co., a separate business. Obsidian Graphics does not offer website development.
