Accessibility.

The site is built to be usable without a mouse, without animation, without color perception, and with a screen reader. This is a statement of how it was built and tested, not a certification. No third-party WCAG audit has been performed.

How the site is built

  • Native HTML landmarks, one heading order per page, visible focus states, and a skip link on every page.
  • The portfolio, the full-screen viewer, the read test, format shift, the filters, and the project brief all work with a keyboard. The viewer traps focus while open, returns it to the piece that opened it, and announces the current position.
  • Every portfolio image carries a written description of what the artwork shows, including the names, dates, and venues printed on it, so the information is never only inside the image.
  • Decorative material studies are hidden from assistive technology. Crop marks, dimension labels, and other production details are decorative and hidden as well.
  • Motion respects the reduced-motion setting. There are no flashing effects, no autoplay audio, no scroll traps, and no custom cursor.

How it was tested

  • Automated checks with axe-core on every route, keyboard walkthroughs of the viewer, filters, format shift, and brief, reduced-motion emulation, and layouts at phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop widths.
  • Testing was performed in Chromium-based browsers. Other browsers and assistive technologies were not tested on real devices.

If something does not work

  • Email the studio inbox on the contact page with the page and the problem. A person reads it and fixes what can be fixed.
